WHEEL RIG

A toy model was provided by faculty.

Have a look at my outliner in left corner.

For rotation of the wheel a simple formula is used to get the wheels functioned.
In the image, the yellow triangle helps us to scale, translate and rotate the whole model.

The parts of model are named specifically so that it is user friendly.

The wheels are grouped twice to themselves to create a transform and expression format. The wheel radius is calculated and the value is added in formula to execute the expression and get the rig done.

Yellow triangle is the master control and has an added attribute that allows us to switch the wheels from independently working and also function with respect to curve when moved.

The above images show you stretch and squash.

The wheels can be independently controlled.

Constraints used - parent constrain, scale constrain, orient constrain
The wheels are orient constrain with curve being the parent and transform group being the child.
